Redberry Photography - Award Winning Wedding Photographers

Redberry Photography's approach to wedding photography is firmly rooted in the ethos of providing the best experience we can for our couples and ensuring those special moments are preserved for you to look back on in years to come.

Our Story

Adam became a first time dad in 2007 and like many new parents, he bought himself a camera. Thinking he was a pro he started to take photos of his daughter - Poppy. But those photos just didn't look as good as he thought they should, so Adam started to read and learn more and more about the technical aspects of photography. In 2009 Adam was asked by a his brother in-law, Steve, if he would photograph his wedding as he really liked some of the photos Adam had taken and he was the "guy with the big camera". Adam really wasn't sure as he had never photographed a wedding before and it is a huge responsibility, but Steve was insistent that if Adam didn't then they wouldn't be able to afford a wedding photographer. So, Adam photographed his first wedding and loved it!

Following this Adam went on to photograph another wedding for a family member and he was hooked. What a great experience, photographing people in love and having the best time of their life.

Adam then wrote to a photographer, who's work he admired and offered to carry bags, lights and assist him - in return for training and mentoring. Moving from assistant to second shooter and learning the art of wedding photography, lighting and the technical aspects, Adam still works alongside his mentor as a thank you for the knowledge he shared.

From here Redberry Photography was born and now comprises of Adam and a team of second shooters and lighting assistants who work with him.

Our Style

We know that many of our couples will have two main concerns:

We are not models and worry that we will feel awkward and uncomfortable in front of the camera.

We really don’t want to have someone there on our special day poking a camera in peoples faces and making all our guests feel watched.

Let us put you at ease and reassure you that the most common feedback we get from our couples is that they felt relaxed around us and how much all their guests warmed to us.

Ensuring that you and your guests are comfortable is our main priority on the day. When you and all your guests are completely at ease, we can capture the best images; those magic, special memories of you all.

We are often asked how we would describe our photography style and we would say that it is modern, fresh with vibrant, natural colours that “pop”, with the occasional sprinkle of some black and white images. This style lends itself to timeless pieces which don’t come and go into and out of fashion like some of the “filter looks” around. Ask yourself – “Will I still be proud to look back on these images in 10, 15 or 20 years time, or will they be out of fashion?”.

We pride ourselves on our timeless art which tells the story of your day.
